Experience
Camilo Hernandez joined Keller Williams Realty team of professional real estate agents in 2011. He brings more than 15 years of exceptional experience working with people, projects and processes to his new role as an Austin Texas Realtor at keller williams austin. He has a passion for "bringing out the best" in the people he serves, which has enabled him to build successful relationships across a variety of industries.
 
Before entering real estate, Camilo worked extensively in Finance as Vice President at Alliance Abroad Group, an international staffing company headquarter in Austin, TX.  In addition, he started his own financial and tax consulting company, Excelsis Consulting Group.  The group continues to provide accounting, tax and business advisory services to small business owners in the Austin area.

Education
Camilo earned a bachelor's degree in Finance and International Relations  from Externado University in Bogota, Colombia, and a master's degree in International Finance and Capital Market's from Columbia University in New York.

Specialties
Camilo is a Realtor specializing in Central, Southwest, and East Austin residential properties. His neighborhoods of focus include Tarrytown, Rollingwood, Westlake, West Campus, Hyde Park, Downtown, Mueller, Travis Country, Circle C, Legend Oaks, Village at Western Oaks, Lantana, Loma Vista, Travis Heights, Bouldin Creek, Sherwood Oaks, and Barton Hills.

Camilo is a member of the Austin Board of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors, and National Association of Realtors.

Personal
An international transplant from Bogota. Camilo relocated to Austin from his native country of Colombia.  He is fluent in English and Spanish with working knowledge of French. He understands the trials and challenges involved in moving to Austin neighborhoods from another area, and is happy to help clients learn more about our city. Camilo lives in the downtown area. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wonderful son, Nicolas.  Camilo’s interests include travel, wine collecting, swimming at lake austin, soccer, Formula1, and dancing. He is always happy to share his knowledge of what Austin has to offer and cannot wait to help you with your new home search!
